# Language Profiency

> Learn how language proficiency is evaluated in the interview process.

## Overview

Language Assessment measures a candidate’s **proficiency in the language used during the interview**.\
If the interview is conducted in English, the candidate’s English skills will be evaluated. The same applies to Spanish, French, or any other supported language.

## What is assessed

* **Grammar and syntax accuracy**
* **Vocabulary range and clarity**
* **Pronunciation and fluency** (for spoken interviews)
* **Conciseness and structure** of responses

## Example evaluation

> “The candidate demonstrates a functional level of English, capable of conveying complex ideas, but struggles with grammatical accuracy and conciseness. To improve, focus on refining sentence structure, reducing repetitive phrasing, and practicing more direct communication. This would enhance clarity and make his knowledgeable responses more impactful.”

### Rating interpretation

Language proficiency ratings range from **Average**, **Good,** or **Excellent**, providing context on how effectively the candidate communicates in the interview language.
