Overview

Soft Skills are automatically assessed in every interview conducted by Zara. Regardless of the interview type or domain, every candidate is evaluated on their interpersonal, behavioral, and communication competencies.

What is assessed

• Critical Thinking: how well the candidate structure their responses
• Empathy and active listening: ability to understand and respond thoughtfully
• Communication clarity: structure, tone, and conciseness of responses
• Adaptability and composure: maintaining focus and respect under pressure

Example evaluation

“The candidate exhibits strong soft skills, particularly in professionalism and judgment, navigating complex ethical scenarios with a clear, responsible approach. He effectively balances patient autonomy with safety concerns, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of therapeutic boundaries and legal obligations. To further enhance his performance, he could focus on refining his communication style to be more concise, which would complement his already strong ethical reasoning and empathetic approach.”

Rating interpretation

Soft Skills ratings range from Average, Good, or Excellent, serving as a behavioral indicator of how the candidate interacts, reasons, and communicates during the interview.
